Wherever fire resistant properties are required, for fixing doors, windows and similar panels, filling in gaps, electrical installations, insulating hot and cold water pipes, covering gaps, holes and cracks. After 1 to 3 hours of curing, excess material can be trimmed, sanded, and painted. Adheres to all construction materials except silicone, teflon, polyethylene and polypropylene. It is resistant to all kind of weather conditions, seawater, diluted acid and caustic solutions, steam and humidity.
- Shake the can strongly for up to 30 seconds.
- Screw the dosing trigger onto the can.
- Remove any dirt, dust and grease from the application surface and moisten it with water. (Moistening the substrate and the applied foam is especially important for accelerating the reaction and achieving efficient results.)
- Use the can upside down.
- Press the trigger to release the foam.
- Clean the gun and valve thoroughly after use for future applications.
- Any uncured foam residues should be cleaned with SOMAFIX FOAM &GUN CLEANER.
- Since the applied foam will expand, controlled volume should be used.
