Description: Somafix Mirror Silicone is one component, neutral, low modulus silicone sealant with outstanding adhesion, long shelf life and excellent tooling characteristics for construction, perimeter sealing and glazing. Cures at room temperature under the action of atmospheric moisture to give a permanently flexible silicone rubber. Solvent free. Non-sag. Quickly becomes tack-free. Primerless adhesion to most materials. Easy gunnability. Non yellowing. Low shrinkage. Almost odourless. Good tooling characteristics. Non-corrosive to metals. Suitable for alkaline substrates such as concrete, mortar, fibrous cement. Compatible with water-based and solvent-based coatings: no plasticizer migration.

Application area Description: Glass and windows construction, sealing of joints between glazing and supporting structure, industrial application as sealant in the automotive, aircraft and shipbuilding industries. Sealing of connecting and expansion joints in the building industry. Sealant for technical applications e.g. for mechanical engineering and for container and silo construction.

Instructions for Use: Make sure the surface to be applied is dry and clean, free of dust and grease. Cut the cartridge tip and place it in the gun, apply silicone over the surface in strip form. Clean any silicone residue simply with soapy water.

Safety: Keep away from reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Prolonged exposure to vapors may harm respiratory system. Store in a cool and dry place.
